Firefighters gear up for rescue on L.A. River in Glendale

Glendale and Los Angeles firefighters are gearing up for a rescue on the Los Angeles River.
Rescue teams have set up at Los Feliz Boulevard after firefighters received a report of one or two people trapped on an island, KTLA reported.
Authorities believe the person or people needing rescue may be near Colorado Boulevard. It was unclear whether anyone was in the water, which has risen due to rainfall.
KNX Radio reported that a man was spotted clinging to tree branches.
