BEIJING -- Archer Brady Ellison, who stayed at the Olympics Training Center in Chula Vista to prepare for the Beijing Games, shot a score of 664 Saturday to place 15th and lead the U.S. contingent in men’s archery competition in Beijing.
Butch Johnson of Woodstock, Conn., shot a 653, good for 40th place, just one point ahead of teammate Vic Wunderle of Mason City, Ill. All three advance to the elimination round on Wednesday.
