Whitman spending tops $120 million for the year

Republican gubernatorial nominee Meg Whitman has spent more than $120 million on her campaign this year.
Whitman raised more than $10.7 million from outside donors between July 1 and Sept. 30. She added another $28 million of her own money in that time. In all she has spent $119 million of her own money on this campaign.
Whitman spent nearly $39.7 million in that same three-month period. You can see Whitman’s full campaign report here.
