Lakers Luke Walton out six weeks because of pinched nerve

The Lakers announced today that reserve forward Luke Walton has a pinched nerve in his back and will be out at least six weeks.
Walton, in his seventh season with the team, missed practice today because of a sore back. He was examined by Dr. Robert Watkins.
Walton, 29, is averaging 3.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and about 11 minutes a game this season.
His injury is likely to give reserve forward Josh Powell additional playing time.
