Hole No. 16 (Redbud)
170 yards, par 3
Tiger Woods parred. Set himself up for another birdie chance when he placed his tee shot beyond the pin and it checked up 10 feet from the hole. However, his putt didn’t break as much to the right as he’d hoped, burning the cup’s left edge.
Today: 2-under par.
Tournament: 6-under.
Standing: Tied for third, three shots behind co-leaders Ian Poulter (9-under through 17) and Lee Westwood (9-under through 9).
Today’s stats: 9 of 12 fairways / 10 of 16 greens / 24 total putts.
