Lincoln Heights: Man, 30, shot while leaving party

Mark Porter, a 30-year-old black man, was shot while leaving a party on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, in the 2600 block of Lacy Street in Lincoln Heights, according to coroner’s records.
Porter was leaving a party with three friends at 2 a.m. when an unknown person opened fire on the group, according to a press release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The three people he was with were shot but survived their injuries, police said.
