Boys’ basketball: Westchester 51, Fairfax 44

It’s a Fairfax timeout with 2:55 left in the third quarter and Westchester ahead, 51-44. After an impressive start to the quarter, the Lions have let Dwayne Polee Jr. get loose inside, and he has contributed two baskets and a free throw for the Comets.

Fairfax is still waiting for Renardo Sidney to take over. He has been playing solid but not spectacular basketball.
