Boys’ basketball: Westchester leads after one quarter

SACRAMENTO _ With Oakland McClymonds making just one of 15 shots, Westchester has taken a 10-4 lead after the first quarter of the state Division I final at Arco Arena.

There were lots of missed shots in a defensive-minded opening eight minutes. Westchester made only five of its 16 attempts.

DeShun McCoy had a pair of baskets for the Comets.
