Girls’ basketball: Mater Dei up by four points at halftime

Mater Dei (23-1), ranked No. 3 in the nation by Maxpreps, has a 28-24 halftime lead over No. 7 Chicago Young (22-0) tonight at the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei.

Jordan Adams and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis have nine points apiece for Mater Dei. Kiana Johnson leads Young with 11 points.
