So far, Hillcrest Christian has shown no signs of being intimidated by the size and strength of top-seeded St. Bernard.

The No. 3-seeded Eagles have sprinted to a 10-2 lead with 3:46 left in the first quarter, thanks to a jumper by Emily Hovivian, back-to-back three-pointers by top scorer Brittany Espinoza and a layup by Christy Corcoran.

Taylor Heath has the only basket for the Vikings, who have missed six of their first eight shots.
