Rio Ruiz hit two triples and a single and Brandon McNitt struck out 10 in six innings to help No. 1 La Puente Bishop Amat (22-2) defeat No. 2 Lakewood, 11-1, in a championship game of the Redondo tournament.

Bishop Amat scored seven runs in the first inning, including a three-run double by Jordan McCraney.
