Alhambra has made a coaching change, replacing first-year football Coach Joe Kanach with Athletic Director Jerry De Santis.

De Santis said he will be an interim coach.

Alhambra is 2-4.

On Wednesday, St. Paul fired its coach, Elijah Asante, and replaced him with Athletic Director Casey Morales.

I see a trend _ athletic directors had better be ready to take over as football coach at a moment’s notice.
