Mitsubishi to Relocate Its Headquarters

Construction is under way in Cypress on a new headquarters for Mitsubishi Electric Sales of America, currently based in Santa Ana.
The $5-million office and warehouse structure is being built by Saffell & McAdam Inc. of Irvine as the second phase of the $25-million McDonnell Plaza at Katella Avenue and Valley View Street.
The two-story, 300,000-square-foot building is being developed by MDC Realty, the real estate subsidiary of McDonnell Douglas Corp. with DeRevere Partnership of Irvine as project architect.
