The Asian Health Club must switch its locked, full-length doors on all massage rooms to unlocked, 40-inch mini-doors to permit police surveillance if it intends to stay in business, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Norman L. Epstein ruled. Although he had enjoined the massage parlor in December from permitting prostitution on its premises at 5859 Melrose Ave., he agreed with owners at that time that removing existing doors would violate patrons’ privacy.
