Taxation Discussion Set by Syndicators

Thomas Gillespie, president of A. B. Laffer Associates, an economic consulting firm founded by Arthur Laffer, will give the keynote address Thursday at the inaugural banquet of the National Assn. of Private Placement Syndicators.
He will speak on the effect of a modified flat tax on real estate syndications at the 7 p.m. event at the Velvet Turtle, 2255 Sawtelle Blvd., West Los Angeles. Reservation for the $17.50-event can be arranged through PensionVest Inc., 2335 Honolulu Ave., Montrose.
