The recently opened Hollywood Celebrity Hotel was the Recipient of a special award, presented on behalf of the film Advisory Board by its president, Elayne Blythe. The renovation project of Larry Levine at 1775 Orchid Ave. was cited as a “significant contribution to accentuating the positive image” of the legendary community.
The occasion also marked the first annual tree-lighting ceremony at the site, presided over by TV personality David Nelson. The Art Deco structure, originally build as a hotel in the late 1930s, served as an apartment building for several decades until its complete hotel reconversion this year.
