Dabasinskas Leads UC San Diego Win

SAN DIEGO — Center Mike Dabasinskas hit 4 of 4 field-goal attempts and 3 of 3 free throws to help UC San Diego’s men’s basketball team defeat Cal Lutheran, 67-54, Tuesday night.
Dabasinskas also had three steals and a team-high nine rebounds to lead the Tritons to a 39-28 edge on the boards. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak for the Tritons, who are 11-8 overall. Cal Lutheran fell to 5-17. Guards Brandon Nixon and Greg Kamansky scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for UCSD, which led 28-23 at halftime.
