Hoover High improved its Pacific League record to 4-2 behind 20 poins and 12 rebounds from junior guard Silvia Antanaitis.
The Tornadoes took a 14-4 first-quarter lead and Arcadia couldn’t gain any ground. Hoover is 11-5 overall. Arcadia slipped to 0-6 in league.
Lynn Koontz, a 5-8 senior forward, had 16 points and 8 rebounds for Hoover. Pam Ower scored 14 points and Missy Coombs added 12 for Arcadia.
