Airline Terminal at O’Hare Getting Major Expansion

Work has begun on a $200-million expansion of American Airlines’ terminal at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
In an effort to beat winter weather, excavating and shoring operations on the $45-million, four-acre subterranean baggage handling facility are being conducted around the clock.
Jones Brothers Construction, which recently completed nearly $70 million of major terminal expansions for American, Western and United Airlines in the Los Angeles International Airport program, is building the O’Hare project.
