Kelly Schroeder grabbed an offensive rebound with 22 seconds left and scored the field goalto give the University of San Diego women’s basketball team a 49-47 victory over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in a nonconference game Saturday at San Luis Obispo.
The Toreros (11-11) led, 29-19, at halftime, San Luis Obispo (7-13) rallied to tie, 47-47. Mary Stanbra led the Toreros with 16 points, and Debbie Theroux added 11 points and 17 rebounds.
