Canadian police recovered some stolen securities.

Police said they have recovered most of the $51.4 million worth of securities taken in an armed robbery from Merrill Lynch Canada last December. Police said five men and two women were scheduled to appear in court after police raids late Monday resulted in the discovery of most of the missing securities. The fact that nearly all the stolen securities appears to have been recovered indicates that the thieves were unable to dispose of their merchandise, police said.
