College Baseball Roundup : Titans Rally, but Lose to Arizona

Gar Millay hit a three-run home run and a run-scoring single Saturday to lead the University of Arizona to an 11-7 victory over Cal State Fullerton in a nonconference college baseball game.
After the Titans (4-6) had rallied from a 4-0 deficit to tie the game 6-6 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Arizona (14-2) scored four runs on six singles in the fifth inning to break the game open.
John Green (1-0) got the win in relief of starter Dave Carley. Mike Harkey (0-1), who relieved starter Paul Hartwig in the first inning, suffered the loss.
In other nonconference action:
UCLA 10-6, UC Irvine 8-4--The Bruins swept the Anteaters (4-4-1) at UCLA. UCLA got a pair of homers from catcher Todd Zeile. UCI second baseman Mike Byrne went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Scott Kershaw got the win and Kevin Kandalaft got the loss.
The Bruins scored four runs in the fifth inning to win the nightcap. Randy Hennis (2-0) took the win while the loss went to Bo Kent (0-2).
