A 30-year-old Wilmington man, arrested at his brother’s insistence after allegedly smashing the brother’s car windows, apparently hanged himself in his jail cell after being booked at Los Angeles Police Harbor Division jail, police said. Danny Lee was found hanging from an upper bunk in a routine inspection of the jail several hours after he was placed in the cell, Lt. Charles Higbie of the police department’s Officer Involved Shooting Investigation unit said. Lee had removed his trousers and used them to form a noose, Higbie said.
