Spanish-style architecture and an eastern Chula Vista hillside location are features of Pacific Ridge, a 159-unit development of single-family houses opening today.
Prices for the 17 three- and four-bedroom houses in the first phase of the Pacific Scene development range from $105,990 to $127,990. Move-ins are scheduled for June.
The detached houses, designed by Lorimer & Case, San Diego, feature one- and two-story, zero-lot-line layouts with 1,297 to 1,880 square feet of living area, two and 2 1/2 baths, red-tile roofs with long overhangs, rough-troweled stucco and blue fascia accents.
Other features include windows with mullions, vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces with glass doors to save energy, formal dining areas, two-car garages with direct home access and ceramic tile entryways and countertops.
Three models decorated by Designers Showcase of San Diego are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 873 Gold Oak Court, reached from the East H Street exit of Interstate 805. The development is just south of the Bonita Valley area and just west of Southwestern College.
