Thank you very much for your fine article covering the Haven Hills Shelter for Battered Women in the San Fernando Valley. Our Alpha Iota chapter of the Alpha Delta Kappa teachers’ sorority has made Haven Hills our altruistic project through the years, and it is heartening for us to know that we aren’t the only ones who care.
With a broader base of assistance, fewer mothers and children will have to be turned away.
