THEATER BOOM BOOM

I have a great solution for the dilemma of the over-saturated theater construction in Los Angeles (“The Boom in L.A. Theaters: Will It Turn Out a Bust?,” by Barbara Isenberg, March 31).
Rather than have dark audienceless theaters, why not use the theaters as community shelters for the homeless and street people.
I’m sure some homeless people would enjoy a night’s entertainment on the house and afterwards a warm, dry place to snooze.

Part II of Isenberg’s series will appear next Sunday.
