While home sick from work recently I watched the Phil Donahue show for the first time in almost four years. I could hardly believe what I saw! Donahue has always been abrupt and abrasive but on this program he was downright mean. He actually screamed at the phone callers, constantly interrupted his guests and even mocked members of the studio audience. In all, it was an ugly, thoroughly disgusting performance. I will make certain that I never waste my time watching him again.
