San Diego State Defeats UCI, 13-7

San Diego State scored four times in the first inning to defeat UC Irvine, 13-7, in a nonconference men’s baseball game Tuesday at Irvine.
Chris Gwynn led the way for the Aztecs, going 3 for 5 with two doubles and one RBI. Mark Grace also went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.
San Diego State is 33-17, UCI 17-17-1.
