Parts Fell From Airborne C-5A Jets, Base Reports

DOVER AIR FORCE BASE, Del. — Forty-six parts have fallen from airborne C-5A cargo jets in the last two years, including a 353-pound door that plummeted 6,000 feet into a field last week, a base spokesman said Tuesday. No injuries have been reported in any of the incidents.
