August completion is scheduled for the first phase of Carnegie Centre, a $30-million, six-building office project in the Irvine Business Complex. The first phase includes four buildings totaling about 160,000 square feet.
Developed by Resco Development of Newport Beach on a 14-acre site at Redhill and Carnegie avenues in Santa Ana, the 285,000-square-foot complex will contain high-technology features not currently available in the complex, according to Ronald E. Soderling of Resco. These include computer-controlled systems for building energy management and parking and security lighting.
Designed by the architectural firm of Banzuelo Rierson Inc., Orange, the concrete tilt-up buildings vary in design with a unifying theme. The Newport Beach office of Daum Business Properties is the leasing agent.
