New Bugs Bunny World Opens at Magic Mountain
- Share via
Bugs Bunny World, a completely new, six-acre area of Magic Mountain designed as a theme area for children, has opened with 14 rides either built new from the ground up or redesigned from the existing area.
The new rides--on which more than $100,000 was spent-- range from the Wile E. Coyote Coaster to the Schmatterhorn and from a renovated carrousel to Bugs Bunny Hole. Also, 6,000 square feet of landscaping was totally redesigned.
Design and construction of the $480,000 redevelopment project were performed by Six Flags Magic Mountain, owner-operator of the park. The project supervisor was Jim Blackie, the company’s director of construction.
