Thank you for the wonderful article about Balk’s Hardware store in South Pasadena by Miv Schaaf (Things, April 28). But obviously she did not go there on a Saturday and have the free, freshly popped popcorn that’s on the counter for all the customers to share. Go back there, Miv; it’s great.
