Pasadena’s Roses Win

PORTLAND, Ore. — The float entered by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Assn. captured the Queen’s Trophy Saturday in the nationally televised Grand Floral parade, the highlight of the 77th annual Portland Rose Festival.
Pasadena stages the nation’s largest rose parade on New Year’s day.
The float was decorated with more than 4,000 reddish-colored Pasadena roses.
