Audiotronics ended a dispute with a Japanese firm.

The North Hollywood maker of audio products, video displays and other equipment said the dispute with the supplier, which it didn’t identify, halted the manufacture of such products as cassette tape recorders and classroom phonographs. The firms disagreed on who owned certain molds, tools and parts required for manufacture, Audiotronics said. The dispute had a “material effect on sales and earnings over the past four months,” but production will resume in July, President Charles A. Musson said.
