ST. PAUL, Minn. — A special commission Friday recessed for six weeks removal proceedings against a prosecutor accused of mishandling an investigation in which 24 persons were charged with sexually abusing children but only one convicted.
The commission considering whether Scott County prosecutor Kathleen Morris should keep her job said it was granting the recess to give her attorneys more time to prepare her defense.
