Cat Burglar Strikes: More than 20 Mission Viejo homes between Jeronimo and Trabuco roads near Alicia Parkway have been burglarized late at night in the past 2 1/2 weeks, authorities said. “Apparently, we’re dealing with a cat burglar who goes into houses just for the money,” said Lt. Bob Rivas of the Sheriff’s Department. Investigators said victims’ purses usually have been found elsewhere, emptied of cash but not credit cards.
