Saying he is unable to devote enough time to the job, Alan F. Shugart, chairman and chief executive of Seagate Technology Inc., has resigned from the board of Applied Circuit Technology Inc. of Anaheim.
Seagate, located in the Northern California community of Scotts Valley, is one of Applied Circuit’s largest customers. Applied Circuit manufactures computer test equipment.
The company said it intends to fill the board vacancy by Oct. 31., the end of its fiscal year.
Bank of America will close its branch at 801 N. Harbor Blvd. in La Habra Wednesday as part of a statewide consolidation program. Customer accounts will be transferred to the La Habra main office at 200 E. La Habra Blvd.
