The Anaheim fast-food company and operator of 442 Carl’s Jr. restaurants said it has taken its $12-million advertising budget to Della Femina, Travisano & Partners, a New York agency that posted billings of $250 million last year. The Karcher account will be handled out of its Los Angeles office. Karcher is struggling to improve its image after suffering four consecutive quarters of earnings declines. Cochrane Chase, Livingston & Co. of Newport Beach had held the account for the past 12 years.
