County : Pacific Bell Customers to Get Redesigned Bills
- Share via
Pacific Bell’s more than 700,000 customers in Orange County will receive a completely redesigned telephone bill beginning Aug. 15.
According to Dave Carroll, area manager for Pacific Bell, the new bills will be larger--about the size of typewriter paper--and segmented for easier reading. “With all the changes that have taken place in the telephone business . . . our customers have found their bills increasingly difficult to understand,” Carroll said.
He added that customer suggestions were incorporated in the design of the new monthly bills, which divide calls made to local toll-zone areas as well as calls made through long-distance carriers, such as Sprint or AT&T; Communications.
