Attorney Appointed to Municipal Court

Bernard John Kamins of Malibu has been appointed by Gov. George Deukmejian to a vacancy on the Los Angeles Municipal Court. Kamins, a trial attorney for the county public defender’s office and a teacher at the Pepperdine University School of Law, replaces Judge Ricard Hubbell, who was promoted to the Superior Court.
Kamins, 42, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his juris doctor degree from the USC School of Law. He is married and has two children.
