Lakers, Celtics to Play Four Exhibition Games

The Lakers will play four exhibition games against the Boston Celtics this fall--two at the Forum, Laker President Bill Sharman announced Wednesday.
The Forum dates are Oct. 17 and Oct. 19, and will be the only home appearances in seven exhibitions for the Lakers, who will also meet the Celtics Oct. 6 at Providence, R.I., and Oct. 8 at Hartford, Conn.
In other exhibitions, the Lakers will meet the Phoenix Suns Oct. 4 at Tucson, the Clippers Oct. 14 at the Sports Arena, and the Indiana Pacers Oct. 21 in the annual Hall of Fame game at Springfield, Mass.
