Hunt Manufacturing to Buy Office Furniture Firm

PHILADELPHIA — Hunt Manufacturing Co. said it agreed in principle to acquire the business and assets of Bevis Custom Cables Inc. of Florence, Ala., a manufacturer of office furniture.
Terms weren’t disclosed.
Bevis had sales of about $18 million for the year ended April 30, Hunt Manufacturing said.
Hunt Manufacturing said it expects to complete the acquisition before the end of the year, subject to approval by its board and the completion of a definitive acquisition agreement.
