Westworld Healthcare Cites Record Earnings

Westworld Community Healthcare Inc. of Lake Forest reported record earnings and revenues for the second quarter and first half of 1985.
Net income for the second quarter ended June 30 increased to $782,000 from $275,000 in the same period a year ago. Revenues grew to $29.8 million, from $9.1 million.
For the six months of the year, net income increased to $1.6 million from $639,000 a year ago. Revenues grew to $53.4 million from $19.1 million.
Westworld also announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire the healthcare system in Tooele, Utah.
The agreement brings Westworld rural health care operations into 13 states and means the company now operates 34 separate systems.
