2 Cosmonauts Take Space Walk

MOSCOW — Two Soviet cosmonauts who have been aboard an orbiting laboratory for nearly two months took a five-hour space walk today in new suits designed for work in open space, the Tass press agency said.
Mission Commander Vladimir Dzhanibekov and Viktor Savinykh, flight engineer, fitted additional solar panels onto the Salyut-7 space station during their time outside the orbiting lab, Tass said.
