Condominium Plan Opposed: A plan to build 146 condominiums on what is now Santiago Golf Course is scheduled to come before the Planning Commission tonight, and residents in the area say they’ll attempt to convince the planners to reject the project. Molly Maloney, spokeswoman for the Santiago Creek Homeowners Assn., said she hopes that about 100 members attend the meeting. The association is opposing the condominium plan, which would be developed by Century American Corp., because of concerns about density and the amount of traffic it will generate on Tustin Avenue and the Garden Grove and Newport freeways.
