Construction is scheduled to begin in November on a $12-million hotel, restaurant and meeting facility at Morro Bay being developed by Martin V. Smith & Associates of Oxnard.
As part of the Smith firm’s chain of Country Inns, the 100,000-square-foot facility is being designed in a contemporary Cape Cod style by Ebbe Videriksen, AIA Architect & Associates of Sherman Oaks.
The 180-suite, three-story project will be built on a six-acre site overlooking the Embarcadero and tidelands. Completion is expected the following fall.
