Lawyer’s Block to Be Renovated

The historic Lawyer’s Block building, across from Horton Plaza at 4th Avenue and E Street, San Diego, was recently purchased for $2.8 million and is expected to be worth $9 million when renovation of the structure is completed by the end of the year.
Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage Services has been named the exclusive leasing agent. The building has about 45,000 square feet of retail and office space on three levels, including one basement-level floor.
With the exception of the Horton Plaza Regional Center, the Lawyer’s Block represents the most extensive retail restoration project in San Diego’s center city.
