The Kings play their first road game of the season tonight against the Vancouver Canucks (2-2-1) at 7:30 p.m. (KLAC). The Kings won their first game after three losses, beating the New York Rangers, 4-3, Wednesday night.
The Canucks defeated the Kings, 6-5, last week in their season opener at the Forum and have a two-game unbeaten streak that includes a win over the New York Islanders.
Canuck defenseman Jiri Bubla, who has been out with a rib injury since the start of the season, is expected back tonight.
The Kings return home Sunday night to play host to Wayne Gretzky and the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Edmonton Oilers.
