AMC Recalling 14,800 Jeep Vehicles for Checks

DETROIT — American Motors Corp. announced Tuesday it is recalling 14,800 new Jeep vehicles to check for possible fuel line and brake fluid problems.
The 1986 models affected are the Jeep Cherokee, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer and Comanche. No accidents or injuries have been attributed to the defects, the auto maker said.
