Joseph A. Watters was appointed president and chief operating officer of San Francisco-based Royal Viking Line, a division of the passenger cruise operator Norwegian Caribbean Lines A/S, based in Oslo.
Watters, 44, has been president of Princess Cruises since 1981 and served in various management positions at the firm since 1977. He was vice president at Grey Advertising prior to joining Princess Cruises.
